Academic Distinction

BCISB is proud to be the only school in Thailand delivering the prestigious British Columbia Canadian Curriculum, granting graduates the internationally recognized Dogwood Diploma. Our programs are fully accredited by both WASC and the British Columbia Ministry of Education, underscoring our commitment to rigorous academic standards and global recognition.

Further enriching our educational framework, we are a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB), implementing both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). This distinctive combination of Canadian and IB curricula cultivates intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and intercultural understanding, preparing students to thrive as future-ready global citizens.

Admissions Process

Step 1: Initial Enquiry

Families are welcome to contact our Admissions Office via Line Official, Facebook Messenger, email or direct telephone. Our staff will be pleased to provide information and assist in scheduling a school tour.

Step 2: School Visits

Campus tours are conducted Monday to Friday at the following times:

8:30-9:30 AM
10:00-11:00 AM
11:30-12:30 PM
1:30-2:30 PM

During the visit, prospective families will meet with our Admissions staff, receive a comprehensive introduction to our curriculum and facilities and have the opportunity to discuss any specific enquiries.

Step 3: Seat Reservation

To secure placement, families may confirm their interest by making a seat reservation. This ensures a guaranteed place in the selected grade level and locks in the prevailing tuition fee structure at the time of reservation.

Step 4: Placement Test

As our academic year commences in September, placement assessments are scheduled in March of the same year. Following the assessment, the Admissions Team will provide full guidance through the online application, document submission, and enrollment procedures. While our main testing window is in March for the new academic year, students can also be assessed and enrolled at any time throughout the academic year.

Step 5: Acceptance & Enrollment

Upon enrollment, families will receive assistance with uniform purchases, digital application downloads and orientation materials, ensuring a well-prepared start to the school journey.

You would begin by making an appointment with our admission officer.

The next step would be a scheduled appointment with school, we will test your child’s reading, writing, decoding, and numeracy levels. Following these tests, the school team will inform you, the parents, if our school is a good fit for your child. This process will ensure the efficient placement of your child based on his/ her current level of proficiency in school subjects and the English language.

Our professionally trained staff at BCISB will help you understand exactly where your child stands. In most cases, if all requirements are met the admissions process is fairly quick. Otherwise, we provide guidance on the steps that need to be taken to ensure his/ her success in education. Whether this would involve an ESL program to bring about the required language proficiency or a change in grade level. Our aim is to ensure the comfort of your child and enable a smooth transition into an International school environment.
